A set of three small Meissen "Schneeballen" vases
1740-1750, the covered vases marked with underglaze blue crossed swords
Modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler, the white body encrusted allover with mayflower blossoms and applied with trailing branches and perched birds, comprising: a pair of baluster vases with waisted neck, domed foot and cover en suite; a flaring beaker vase with globular middle section (discoloured restorations)
