A Meissen chinoiserie blue-ground teabowl
Circa 1735, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords and gilder's mark Z5
Gilt and painted in colours, in the manner of Johann Ehrenfried Stadler, the powdered-blue body reserved with two ogival cartouches depicting "contour" chinoiseries (Fächerchinesen) at various pursuits with flywhisks and umbrellas, surrounded by Goldspitzenbordüre decoration, the inside white and decorated with gilt border en suite
