A GEORGE II MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE ESTATE-CABINET
Circa 1750, now lacking doors to the upper section
The leaf tip and Greek-key carved overhanging cornice above four rows of six alphabetically labelled drawers, above a lower kneehole section with green felt-lined secretaire drawer above a kneehole with apron drawer in front of a recessed door, flanked to each side by three drawers, on later bracket feet, later brasses, the cornice possibly originally parcel-gilt
