The rectangular three-quarter galleried superstructure, above a roll-top enclosing an interior fitted with seven open compartments and a burgundy leather-lined ratcheted writing surface flanked by four drawers over four false drawers, the shaped kneehole surrounded by five drawers, on square tapering legs, one lockplate stamped CHUBB/PATENT 2086, pulls replaced
