Type: 1a:121aG. First initial space left blank, other 2-6-line initials and paragraph marks alternating in red and blue, red capital strokes. (Light dampstains in first quire, blank 51/8 reinforced at hinge and corners replaced, tear in upper margin of fo.6 not affecting text, small wormholes in first and final few leaves without loss.) Late nineteenth-century brown pigskin, blindstamped with fillets (front cover lightly stained). Provenance: contemporary manuscript quiring and some annotations in a contemporary hand; Augsburg, St. Moritz, with stamp on 1/2r: S. Iohannis Plebani ad S. Maricium in Augusta A° M°CCCC.7; Joannes Caspari (his Dissertatio de modis constituendi civitates was published in J.N. Hertius's selections of jurisprudence, 1737).
