Collation: a-z8 &8 A-L8 M6 (a1r blank, a1v dedicatory prologue by Maius to Ferdinand I, a2r text, M4r letter by Maius to Henricus Languardus, M4v dedicatory letter by Bartholomaeus Parthenius to Franciscus Tronus, M5 register, M6 blank). 283 (of 286, lacking a1 and M5 and without blank M6) leaves. 54 lines, double column. Type: 5:80R, 80 Greek. 5- to 6-line initial spaces. (First quire stained and frayed at edges, repaired, first initial space cut away and replaced, some scattered staining, inscription erased from M3v.) Nineteenth-century vellum-backed patterned paper boards.
