Chancery 4° (196x140mm). Collation: a-e8 f4 g-h8 i4 k8 l4 m-o8 p4 q-t8 v4 x-z8 8 (a1 title, a2r prologue, text, 8v blank). 172 leaves. 36 lines and headline. Type: 5:160G (title and headlines), 6:80G (text), printed guide-letters. 3- to 4-line initial spaces left blank, capital strokes and underlining in red. (Worming affecting some letters.) Early quarter calf over wooden boards blindstamped, rebacked in 18th-century pigskin, two leather spine labels, paper pressmark label, printed pastedowns (boards somewhat worm-eaten, missing single fore-edge clasp.) Provenance: Salzburg, Benedictine monastery of St. Peter, 18th-century inscription partly erased; Dr. Otto Kielmeyer, with his ex-libris stamp.
