PLENARIUM -- Epistolae et Evangelia [German:] Hye hebt sich an das evangeli buch. Ulm: Conrad Dinckmut, 28 February [14]83.

Chancery 2° (277x195mm). Collation: a-z8 A-I8. 197 leaves (of 256, lacking 59 leaves including all 58 woodcuts). 35 lines and headline. Type: 1:118G. Woodcut initials. (Some worming.) Contemporary pigskin over wooden boards, blindstamped, single fore-edge clasp (piece detached but present), printed pastedowns, stamps not in Kyriss (binding worn). Provenance: occasional annotations in an early hand; Michael Hartman, note of purchase dated 1553.

A rare edition, only one copy recorded in America. The copy described by Hain was obviously also badly defective, since he calls for only 128 leaves, a description presumably taken over by Schreiber, who also calls for 128 leaves. The pastedowns are leaves from the present edition which are otherwise missing from this copy: fo. 39 (printed foliation reads xxix) with woodcut, and fo. 34. H 6733; Goff E-82; Schreiber 4961; Schramm VI, p.18; Amelung, Frühdruck I, 96; Rosenwald [1977], 94
