lithograph printed in colours, 1953, on Marais wove paper,a rare colour variant, the sky printed in deep mushroom-grey, the roofs of the buildings at the centre and the towers printed in a light pastel brown, signed in pencil, inscribed 'epreuve d'état' (there was also a numbered edition of 220 and twenty artist's proofs),published by Guilde de la Gravure, Geneva, with margins, slight mount-staining in the margins and on the reverse, the sheet edges obscured by mount, taped at the reverse sheet edges to the mount, framed
