A central Indian stone figure of Vamana
11th Century
with tightly curled hair and serene expression, the semi-naked figure with hanging tassles and jewellery, mounted on a metal stand -- 18in. (45.7cm.) high; and a stone figure of Vahari, the mythical beast with headdress and jewellery facing the side holding a bowl with its right hand, mounted on a metal stand -- 13in. (33cm.) wide, (old chips and losses).
