Lot Essay

Spanning the Red River of the North, uniting the twin cities of Fargo and Moorhead, the Cultural Center Bridge symbolically joins the architecture of the cities with the river itself. A windmill from a neighboring history museum pumps the water through the structure's central keystone, discharging the currents as a waterfall.
