with a field of red wool woven with successive bands of leafy vines bearing palmettes and flowers and interspersed with staggered rows of floral boteh, the pallu with eight upright boteh with hooked vine surrounds reserved against columns of red, yellow and indigo, Kashmir, 19th century, (damages and repairs - singed)--140cm x 300cm
