A VICTORIAN SILVER-PLATED SIX-LIGHT CENTERPIECE CANDELABRUM
Maker's mark of Cartwright, Hirons and Woodward, Birmingham, circa 1860
On three massive acanthus scroll feet partially matted joined with a pierced apron of scrolls, foliage and cartouches, rising to an inverted flaring vase-shaped stem, headed by cast dolphins and paired leaves joined by a flower at the center and surmounted by a leaf calyx, supporting six leaf-clad reeded scroll branches with foliate wax pans, campana-form sockets and shaped circular removable nozzles centering a flaring vase with foliate matted everted rim, 24½in (62.3cm.) high
