Each maker's mark of Hester Bateman, London, the teapot 1780; the stand 1785
Straight sided oval, two sides bright-cut engraved with ribbon-tied floral festoons, centering vacant oval cartouche, with floret borders, part-engraved straight spout, wood high loop handle, the hinged partly raised cover topped by wood oval finial--5¼in. (13.3cm.) high, the oval stand on four claw and ball feet, with beaded rim--7¾in. (19.68cm.), gross weight 19oz. (2)
