The ovoid pot with stylized animal's mask spout, high arched wood handle, the chained cover topped by butterfly finial--7½in. (19cm.) high; the articles comprising five dishes, the largest--10in. (25.4cm.) wide, two finger bowls and a silver- mounted and covered glass jam pot, each flat-chased and engraved with arabesque at intervals; the last formed as an open backed grotesque bird on baluster stem on raised circular base--8¼in. (20.95cm.) high, gross weight 74oz. (10)
