Compressed cylindrical, enamelled in translucent white over a moiré ground, one side applied with a cypher surmounted by a diamond-set crown, the ends mounted with chased and engraved palmate bands, the spring-hinged cover with a border of seed-pearls, with cabochon ruby pushpiece, marked inside cover and base and on flange
