Decorated en première-partie with foliate strapwork, the borders with lizards, birds and flower vases, the top section with two glazed doors enclosing two shelves, the base with two doors enclosing a shelf, on bun feet, back center foot now lacking

This form, termed 'armoire en deux corps', was already in existence by 1717 when one is listed in the inventory carried out following the death of Baunet de Rancy:
