CIRCA 1750, BLUE INTERLACED L'S AND DOT MARKS

Meissen-style decoration such as that found on the present vases was executed at Vincennes as early as 1745. However, as the rims are gilt, the present examples cannot have been made any earlier than 1749 at which time gilding was introduced.
