the complete set of 16 unsigned etchings, one in sanguine, hors-texte, title, text and justification, on Japan, and the additional two suites of 15 unsigned etchings in sanguine, on Japan and Chine, and the original signed pencil and ink drawing for Der Hochmut I, copy 7 of 15 (there was also the edition of 44 with one additional suite of the unsigned etchings and the edition of 240 lacking the extra suites), the full sheets, bound as issued, very pale time staining, occasional soft creasing at the sheet edges, the binding split, otherwise in very good condition, original wove paper cover (slightly worn). 255 x 190mm.
