Kelm (vol.III, 1963, nos.161, 164, 165) publishes several masks in this style in the Museum für Völkerkunde in Berlin that were collected along the Lower Sepik River in 1900.

Of oval form, serrated beard, small open pierced mouth, pierced round eyes, downward projecting beak-like nose, double concentric arc reliefs at top of head, projecting lugs at top and bottom, red and black pigment with white ovals surrounding eyes and below mouth
