AN ELEGANT ANTIQUE EMERALD, RUBY, SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BIRD BROOCH
Designed as a circular-cut emerald and pavé-set diamond swooping bird, its head set with circular-cut rubies, emeralds and sapphires, with diamond eyes, its rose-cut diamond and circular-cut emerald and ruby tail feathers enhanced by a rose-cut diamond spray of feathers, mounted in silver and gold (one diamond missing), circa 1880
