The conical shade in brilliant colors depicting clematis blossoms in mottled and striated hues of pink, magenta, indigo, violet and purple, with many blossoms of translucent glass, the centers comprised of iridescent favrile glass in vivid orange and deep yellow-orange when illuminated, with stems in deep orange and leaves in various shades of mottled green, against a mottled and striated ground of multi-colored shades of yellow, orange, green, teal and royal blue glass, interspersed with fractured glass and stringing, the ground further decorated with iridescent favrile glass visible when illuminated, bordered by three rows of green glass, tag stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1480-1, the base with green glass blown into a brown patinated reticulated frame decorated with wide, striated bronze bands descending to ribbon-like decoration with beaded ornamentation, terminating in bronze tendrils with beaded ornamentation, all on a circular, stepped bronze base, the oil canister stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 5080
