The shallow bowl with a stylized facing head on a gilt ground in the tondo, enclosed within a border of overlapping lanceolate leaves, some of which are gilt, with four elaborate rosettes above, their heart-shaped leaves gilt, alternating with punched dot clusters, the small handle riveted to the exterior of the rim with round-headed pins
