The lamp with an upright cross with flaring arms above a looped handle and thumb rest, the hinged lid in the form of a shell, with a single up-turned nozzle, on a flat, round foot with an indent to accommodate the pricket, the stand with a broad, up-curved drip-pan, the baluster of nobs and circles supported by three legs with pawed feet
