AN ANGLO-SAXON BRONZE CRUCIFORM BROOCH
circa early 6th century b.c.
The headplate with a raised central field with punched lunate pattern on the sides, flanked by flat trapezoidal wings, with three projecting hemispherical knobs with disks at their base, the bow with moldings at either end and two grooves down the middle, the long foot with transverse grooves and ridges, terminating in a stylized horse head
