The hemispherical bowl with wide flattened rim decorated in low relief with stylized butterfly pattern and with four cigarette rests cast as butterflies alight, the entire bowl supported by four stylized cats, stamped A.A. Rateau INVB 1901 Paris--3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, 8in. (20.4cm.) diameter
