A THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SET, the teapot, maker's mark of William Adams, New York, circa 1835, the cream jug and two handled covered sugar bowl apparently unmarked, each partly lobed, inverted pear shaped with reeded corners, on circular pedestal foot, initialled H, with reeded moldings and broad downcurved shaped rim, the teapot with part fluted scroll spout and foliate scroll handle, the hinged molded low domed cover with cast flower finial--the teapot, 9¼in. (23.4cm.) high, gross weight 64.5oz. (3)
