A MATCHING TEAPOT AND TWO HANDLED COVERED SUGAR BOWL, maker's mark of R. & W. Wilson, circa 1835, the teapot and sugar bowl, urn form with waisted neck on four acanthus topped foliate scroll feet, with traces of small monogram to shoulder and engraved C. Burton underneath base, the teapot with part acanthus clad scroll spout and leaf capped scroll handle, the low domed cover with cast bird-form finial, the sugar bowl with two foliate upcurved handles with ram's mask join, together with an urn form monogrammed cream jug, on molded circular base, with die rolled borders and foliate scroll handle--R. & W. Wilson, circa 1835--the teapot, 8½in. (21.5cm.) high, gross weight 79oz. (3)
