The first oval, with beaded surround enclosing flat, scrolling filligree initials "JC"; the second oval, painted on tin and centering a maiden in a sylvan background, the whole with conforming surround paint-decorated with cobalt, gilt and purple repeating scallop shells enclosed by paste brilliants; the third pointed elliptical centering braided hairwork set with script initials "AMW" enclosed by a conforming white and cobalt enamel painted swag surround; the fourth oval with chased decorated surround enclosing a black and grey enamel painted memorial inscribed, "IN MEMORY OF My Dear Sister"--2in. high the largest (4)
