The arched hood with central upswept pediment centering an oval line inlaid and veneered decoration centering three line-inlaid plinths surmounted by brass finials, the tympanum with a central lightwood inlaid keystone flanked by lightwood inlaid fluted edges above an arched glazed door opening to a white painted dial with Roman and Arabic chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds ring and calendar day aperture, the spandrels embellished with painted bouquets, the dial signed Effingham Embree, the glazed door flanked by fluted collonettes with brass capitals and bases all above a line-inlaid waisted case centering an arched cupboard door embellished with a central inlaid oval flanked by fluted quarter columns over a rectangular boxed base with scalloped apron, on bracket feet--90in. high, 18¾in. wide, 9¼in. deep
