A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER EPERGNE
Mark of William Homer, Dublin, 1765
On four shell and scroll feet, with openwork rocaille and floral aprons between, the detachable scroll branches supporting four circular dishes with gadroonded borders, the central neck chased with stiff leaves and flutes, rising to a pierced collar supporting a boat-shaped basket pierced with scrolls, with four cut-glass dishes, marked on base, each branch and dish, the basket apparently unmarked
