With nickel finished jewelled lever movement, the matt white dial with applied baton numerals, blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds, the rectangular pink gold case with Roman numerals engraved on the bezel, a cabochon sapphire-set slide below six o'clock activating the white gold shutters engraved with a scroll motif revealing the concealed dial, the white gold case back secured by four screws, together with an 18K pink gold Vacheron & Constantin double deployant clasp, Certificate and Vacheron & Constantin presentation box and outer packaging, case, dial and movement signed

This watch is a replica of the montres à volets or watch with shutters, which was created by Vacheron & Constantin in the 30s, to protect the watch which had glass instead of sapphire crystal at that time.
