Each rectangular lantern has canted corners, the top aperture surmounted by a crown, and all supported on a galleried base with foliate legs, the openwork borders decorated in brightly coloured cloisonné enamel with elaborate lotus scrolls entwined with twin-fish and conch shells, fitted with electrical lighting fixtures and frosted glass panels (minor losses infilled)
