An Italian ormolu-mounted pietra-dura, ebony and ebonised oval gueridon
Circa 1850
Centred by a pink rose with ribbon-tied pearls and flying butterflies, sea shells and coral, grapes, muguet and other spring flowers, within a malachite border, within an egg and dart frame, above a central column, flanked to each angle by a scroll support, each with an eagle head terminal, on a quatrefoil base
30 in. (76 cm.) high; 33 in. (84 cm.) wide; 26 in. (66 cm.) deep
