A GREEN-GLAZED RED POTTERY MODEL OF A STOREHOUSE
HAN DYNASTY

The one-storey, rectangular structure raised on six crouching bear supports, one wall pierced with three windows, the shutters opening inwards, with panels of diaper pattern molded below and separated by the braces which support the overhanging tile roof, the roof ridge surmounted by three resting birds with backward-turned heads, covered overall with a leaf-green glaze with large areas of silvery-gold iridescence, especially on the roof (minor restoration)
