A PALE BLUISH-GREEN JADE DAGGER AXE, GE
SHANG DYNASTY
The tapering blade with beveled edges carved on both sides with three short grooves parallel to the angled corners projecting just below the tang which is pierced with a biconical hole, the stone with satiny polish and of an almost opaque pale blue-green color suffused with opaque buff mottling (rim chips)
