The inkstone carved on top with Litaigui asleep atop a large double gourd from which the vaporous border and large bat above have escaped, his crutch, a fan and straw hat beside him, the underside with another recessed grinding area; one rectangular ink stick carved with bamboo, the other with scenes of figures in pavilions, and both with lengthy inscriptions (rim chip to one ink cake)
