One of Suzhou type depicting a cicada on a leafy foliage spray, very finely carved and hollowed, an inscription on one side cut from the brown skin (bruise and small chips to underside); the other a chalcedony agate pendant cleverly carved using the brown areas of the stone to depict three melons and the whiter areas to depict the surrounding leafy foliage and a butterfly
