TWO JIZHOU TEA BOWLS

Both with deep, slightly rounded, flared sides, one covered inside and out with a 'tortoise shell' glaze of ochre and brownish-black color ending just above the almost flat foot ring, the foot left unglazed exposing the granular buff ware; the other covered allover with a phosphatic blue-splashed blackish-brown glaze, also stopping just above the foot (restoration to rims)
