A RARE LARGE FAMILLE VERTE BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI

The bulbous lower body well painted with four Buddhistic lions, one adult and three cubs, each painted in a different combination of colors, the long blue ribbons of two brocade balls trailing amidst their feet, below bands of foliate scroll and ruyi heads at the base of the tall neck, decorated with bands of pendent leaves and star diaper below the mouth rim, all in attractive shades of yellow, green, blue and mauve glaze and iron red and black with gilt highlights 21½in. (54.6cm.) high
