It is rare to find this design on a cup of this small size. A comparable cup of slightly smaller size (5.3cm. diam.), also with a Yongzheng yuzhi mark, in the collection of Gerald Reitlinger, is illustrated by Soame Jenyns, Later Chinese Porcelain, London, 1951, pl. XLV (1). A small Yongzheng cup of this pattern, but of shallow, rounded form, was included in the exhibition, Qing Dynasty Painted Enamels, National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1979, pl. 40. For a bowl of this design and shape with a Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue, but of larger size, see Hugh Moss, By Imperial Command, Hong Kong, 1976, col. pl. 25
