The later rectangular top above a frieze inlaid with putti at the hunt on square baluster form supports inlaid with acanthus, joined by a similarly inlaid undertier on block feet, possibly Neapolitan--36¾in. (93.4cm.) high, 60¼in. (153cm.) wide, 22¼in. (56.4cm.) deep

A Neapolitan console table with similar stylized foliate inlay is illustrated in G. Wannenes, Mobili D'Italia L'Ottocento, 1987, pl. 184.
