A Safavid blue and white dish with rounded sides and everted lip, the white interior painted with a small central roundel with scrolling flowering plants around two birds, in a broad border of Aster pattern after the Chinese original, the exterior with meandering flowering vine -- 14¼in. diam, probably Kirman, 17th Century.
