Painted in iron-red, green and underglazed blue enriched in gilt in the 'Thumb and Finger' pattern, wear to gilding, comprising:
Two sauce tureens, covers and stands--7in. (17.8cm.) long, the stand
A waist bowl, star cracked to bottom--6½in. (16.5cm.) diameter
Two cream jugs, different shapes--both 5½ (14cm.) long
Six dessert plates, three cracked--8½in. (21.7cm.) diameter
Twenty-three tea cups, one handle cracked
Twenty-five coffee-cans, one cracked, one crazed
Thirty-three saucers, two rims knicked
Together with a similar Spode part service, the 'Thumb and Finger' gilt with fret work, gilding worn, comprising:
A sauce tureen, cover and stand, stand restored--8 1/8in. (20.7cm.) long, the stand
Four tea cups and saucers, star cracked to underside of one saucer (104)
