CIRCA 1805
Painted with still lives of fruit and flowers within a gilt scallop surround intersected with a gilt zig zag, the rim gilt with foliate scrolls on the blue ground, wear to gilding, enamels scratched, comprising:
An oval footed compote, hairline cracks to underside of foot--13 1/8in. (33.3cm.) long
Two sauce tureens and covers--7in. (17.8in.) wide overall
Four shell-shaped dishes--one broken in half and restored--7¾in. (19.6cm.) long
Four cushion-shaped dishes, one with a corner broken off in three and restuck--8½in. (21.6cm.) square
Four lozenge-shaped dishes--11¼in. (28.6cm.) long
Twenty dessert plates, seven cracked--8 3/8in. (21.4cm.) diam. (35)
