CIRCA 1825, BLACK PRINTED MARK, PATTERN NO. 3744

Printed and enriched with rich enamels and gilt with a Chinese boy holding a peony and dancing, enclosed within a gilt medallion, the rim with Chinese figures at various pursuits, minor wear, comprising:

A rectangular two-handled footed compote--13½in. (34.4cm.) wide
Three lozenge-shaped dishes--10¼in. (26cm.) diam.
Two footed cream bowls and stands, covers missing--7¼in. (18.4cm.) wide, overall
Twenty dessert plates, minimal wear, star crack to the underside of one, small rim crack to another--8 3/8in. (22.2cm.) diam. (28)
