A collection of ornate cameo embosssed and pierced paper lace Valentines, majority with chromolithographic floral centres, some decorated with fabric flowers and leaves, silver and gilded details, majority with printed verses, makers include Meek, Kershaw & Son, Wood and Mullord Bros., c.1840's to 1870's, largest 7¼ x 4¾in; and a quantity of greeting cards contained in contemporary hand-coloured lithographed box, the lid depicting two ladies in a landscape playing with a goat.
