A large Safavid tinned-copper bowl, the body decorated with bands of scrolling arabesques interspersed with bands of calligraphic cartouches -- (rubbed, surface degraded, minor dents) -- 12in.wide; another similar with flattened everted rim, the body decorated with hanging pendants -- 12in.wide; and a Safavid tinned copper bowl with straight sides and flaring rim, decorated with shaped cartouches of flowerheads and animals -- 9¼in.diam.; all 17th century.
