ZA SILVER COFFEE POT, bearing marks for Ayme Videau, London, 1758, chased later and re-shaped, baluster, on short circular base with rocaille band, two sides with scroll and rocaille enclosed asymmetrical cartouche, one engraved with script initials, chased and engraved with broad shaped frieze composed of scrolls, flowers, rocaille, and scalework on a finely matted ground, with part decorated neck, with highly upraised partly fluted and foliate scroll spout, wood scroll handle, the hinged molded low domed cover chased with floral band and rocaille rim, surmounted by baluster finial--10¼in. (26cm.) high, gross weight 28oz.
