A GEORGE II SILVER TEA KETTLE, STAND AND LAMP, maker's mark of Peter Archambo, London, 1737, the bullet shaped kettle engraved with coat of arms within elaborate foliate scroll, bellflowers and brick filled strapwork surround, with partly fluted leaf capped scroll spout, the hinged flat cover topped by wood button finial, with part raffia covered multi scroll swing handle, the detachable circular stand on three scroll supports resting on shell feet (bone insulators under feet), the detachable cylindrical lamp with detachable cover--tea kettle on stand over handle--12in.
